Instant favorite for us. We are a huge pudding family and anything pudding adjacent with less sugar and more “real” ingredients is always a plus.
So quick to throw together great for a quick treat. we served ours with slices of strawberries and whipped cream as suggested and it was the perfect end to our meal.

I made this, and wow!! It is the richest chocolate pudding. You could use it as cake icing (I have seen this before — something similar). I had extra roasted sweet potatoes, which caramelizes their sugars and makes them even sweeter, so I decided to use milk instead of maple syrup. The pudding was perfectly sweet. I needed to add several more tablespoons and it is still quite thick; next time I might add half a cup or more for smoother, less rich pudding. Depends on how much I am craving chocolate :)
