Hi Alyssa! We like bold coffee in this recipe but feel free to dilute it more next time. And yes, a high speed blender is ideal for getting dates well blended!

I used my chemex and the ratio of beans to water for the cold brew and it was OVERPOWERING! Also, I only have a small personal blender because I live in a studio apartment and it did not blend the dates well. I added multiple times the water for a fraction of the dates and ended up giving up. Just a heads up for those with wimpy blenders! It’s obviously not the fault of the recipe! Just something to consider.
